Simply Green Headlines

Well, it’s been a hot minute since we dusted off and let you know what’s going on in the world of Simply Green. Believe it or not, winter has a strange way of making things busy at a heating company.

And, boy, have we been busy.

  • This year is 10% colder than last year. Although we haven’t had one of those brutal New England winters, we’re still a whole lot colder than it was last year. Noticing that your heating bills have been higher despite relatively stable fuel prices; well, Old Man Winter has had a thing or two to say about that.
  • Biodiesel infrastructure and availability continues to grow throughout the country, as well. As you know, our bulk storage facility in North Hampton found its way to the news, and through that facility, we’re already bringing a steady supply of competively priced biodiesel to our customers and to other retailers throughout Southern New Hampshire. Chances are, if it’s biodiesel, and it’s the Seacoast, we’re going to be a part of it!
  • We continue to lend our expertise to media outlets. I recently contributed some Green Tips to SeacoastOnline
  • Charitable contribution continues to be a mainstay of our mission. Environmental impact isn’t the only impact we want to make. Already this year, we’ve donated to Great Bay Services, Jaden’s Ladder, Seacoast Charter School, the Seacoast Mavericks, and little league season hasn’t even started yet! We continue to dedicate ourselves to the idea that a thriving community is both sustainable and well-supported.

The news continues to grow for Simply Green, and more and more homes and businesses are seeing the benefits of biodiesel. Have you made the switch yet?
